AàZ Transports SA (hereafter "we") is committed to protecting the privacy of visitors to its taxicab.ch website. This policy describes what data we collect, why, and how you can exercise your rights. It complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP).

2. Data collected and purposes

a) Booking form

When making an online booking, we collect: first name, last name, email address, phone number, pick-up address and destination, desired date and time, number of passengers and billing information where applicable.

Purpose: processing and confirming your booking, coordinating with the driver, sending booking confirmation by SMS/email, invoicing.

Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6§1b GDPR).

b) Contact form

Name, email, message. Used solely to respond to your enquiry.

Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6§1f GDPR).

c) Browsing data

When you visit the site, our server automatically records: IP address (anonymised after 24h), browser, pages visited, visit duration. These data are used for anonymous statistical purposes to improve the website.

Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6§1f GDPR). No advertising or tracking cookies are used.

3. Retention period

Booking data are retained for 3 years for accounting and legal purposes, in accordance with Swiss law (CO Art. 958f). Contact data are deleted after the enquiry has been handled, within a maximum of 12 months.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. They may be shared with:

  • Our drivers (only the information needed for the ride)
  • Our SMS provider (ClickSend) for sending booking confirmations — based in Australia, certified GDPR-compliant
  • Competent authorities where required by law

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR and the revFADP, you have the following rights:

  • Access — obtain a copy of your data
  • Rectification — correct inaccurate data
  • Erasure — request deletion of your data
  • Objection — object to processing
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured format
  • Complaint — lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC)

6. Security

All data are transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS). Access to booking data is protected by authentication and restricted to authorised AàZ Transports SA staff.

7. Cookies

This site uses only technically necessary cookies required for its operation (booking session, CSRF protection). No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are set.

8. Google Maps

The booking form uses the Google Places API for address auto-completion. This service is provided by Google LLC (United States). By using the auto-completion feature, you accept Google's privacy policy.

9. Changes

We reserve the right to amend this policy at any time. The update date below indicates the version currently in force.
